International Trade and Finance Undergraduate Program is a multidisciplinary program. As its name suggests, the Program provides specialization in the fields of International Trade and Finance. In a globalizing world, modern organizations are highly influenced by rapid developments in the global business environment and capital markets. Experts who can deal with problems with global and financial dimensions are especially preferred by international companies that direct world trade. Today's successful organizations need professionals who recognize and distinguish financial, political, legal and cultural differences in international markets. The International Trade and Finance Undergraduate Program also offers a second foreign language proficiency apart from English. Graduates of the program gain a competitive advantage by acquiring the necessary skills and expertise needed in international business environments and financial markets.
Goals and Objectives
As a result of the necessity of playing an active role in the global economic system, one can interpret the developments in the world economy with scientific research methods and transfer the theoretical knowledge gained in this department to professional business life, analyze the functioning and effects of financial markets that are closely related to international balances, and help understand and develop the global economic and financial structure. Able to contribute to the workforce, monitor and analyze developments in national and international economic and financial markets for the private sector and public institutions, and be prepared for future situations in these areas, taking into account the main legal rules and legislation that constitute the legal framework of the international financial system, It is aimed to train human resources who can understand and are aware of the regional, national and international dimensions of finance.

Graduates of the department can work as financial analysts in money and capital markets. They also have job opportunities in public institutions and organizations, banks, finance departments, consultancy companies, brokerage firms and investment companies. However, if they have a CMB license, they can become credit rating experts, derivative instruments personnel, and portfolio managers.
